October 13th - Hot Flush Women's Health Event
Talking menopause with the experts
Join us at our Hot Flush Women’s Health Event, on Saturday 13th October at Bell House.
It’s the place to find positive, practical information about the menopause and a chance to get your questions answered!
Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, Dr Karen Morton, will myth bust menopause, offer treatment options, and share facts on HRT, empowering women to manage their menopause.
Women’s Health Physiotherapist, Christien Bird, talks all things pelvic floor health and how menopause symptoms impact on intimate relationships. She’ll offer simple and effective advice to improve quality of life, both now, and in the future.
“We were genuinely impressed at the high quality of the information, the organisation, value for money, friendliness and positive atmosphere. This is a team to watch out for and we would encourage you to attend one of their meetings if you want support and information on the menopause.” Myra Robson, #pelvicroar (speaking about the Hot Flush Event she attended earlier this year).
Doors open at 1pm for a 1.30pm start. Speakers finish at 4.00pm followed by a cream tea and a chance to chat with the speakers. (Event closes at 4.30pm).
Tickets include: cream tea, refreshments and gift bags, sponsored by Sylk Natural Intimate Moisturiser, (with contributions from Kegel8, Femarelle supplements, Plantur 39 Shampoo, plus other giveaway treats). A raffle will be held on behalf of the Eve Appeal to win a set of Become vest and knickers.
Early Bird tickets £19.00 (+vat) - offer ends 6pm, 10th October, £25.00 after this date. Limited capacity of 60 places. Concessions are available so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details, quoting 'event ticket concession’ in your email.
