Foam away your flushes in a flash
It doesn't matter whether we're in the midst of the mid-winter chills, if you suffer hot flushes you have your own body thermostat that appears to be constantly on the blink! Breaking into unwelcome sweats can occur any time of year.
As your body’s internal heating system goes into over-drive in peri-menopause, the hypothalamus (the part of the brain that regulates temperature), is tricked by your depleting oestrogen levels into producing more sweat, which can be excessive for some of us. Bacteria then feeds on the protein in our sweat causing mouth, groin, armpit, and foot odour. Menopause symptoms such as, hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, anxiety and panic attacks can make any sweating worse! Sometimes emergency action is required.
